MacBond Overview

MACbond double-coated tapes eliminate the need for metal fasteners or messy liquid adhesives, and speed the assembly of a wide array of sub-assembly parts.

Engineered for the most demanding bonding or laminating applications, MACbond double-coated tapes feature general performance or high performance rubber-based adhesives, or a high performance acrylic adhesive on polypropylene or “Blackbond” carriers.

All MACbonds assure a solid bond with minimal increase in total product thickness, while providing lasting durability and long-term performance.

Polycoated liners are available on several MACbond constructions where moisture resistance and layflat are critical after lamination and die cutting.

Features and Uses

Ideally suited for bonding similar or dissimilar surfaces such as plastic, metal, rubber, cork, foam, wood, glass, fabrics, and ceramics.
Bond is uniformly distributed and mechanically sound.
End product surfaces are unmarred by rivets, screw heads or weld depressions.
No curing time required like liquid adhesives.
Available in self-wound rolls with a single liner or in sheet form with two liners.
